The driving power of our corporate social responsibility is people and empowering those in need. This time we looked around Aroma plant area and asked the local community center how we could support them. Their most urgent need was for a co-financing to buy library software. The library also needed bookshelves and some books to cover the needs of local school students.
Our team responded quickly and we started an internal social impact initiative “Cosmetics for Books”. We successfully implemented support for the local community in our corporate daily life by engaging our employees in a charity bazaar of cosmetic products and giving them the chance to donate books from their home libraries.
Thanks to the common efforts, Aroma team raised the needed amount. Now the local community center has the so needed software through which the local community and students have easy and quick access to the library’s collection of books.
